End of Judicial Symposium on Intellectual Property / Tokyo 2017

The Judicial Symposium on Intellectual Property / Tokyo 2017 has finished the three days’program on Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2017.
As we have posted previously, the IP High Court was in charge of the first day’s program, which was comprised of mock trials on the theme of gathering evidence in patent litigation with participation of the delegates from Japan, China, Korea and Singapore, and following panel discussion. The IP High Court finished the first day’s program with a great success with around 500 audience.
The programs for other two days, such as panel discussions on trademark, and case studies on inventive step of patent and similarity of trademarks were also successfully concluded.
Around 1300 participants in total from around the world listened those programs diligently in three days. The organizers made closing remarks on commitment and cooperation to continuously hold symposiums in the near future.
