IP High Court Judge's Participation in Summer Seminar on American Patent Law held at University of Washington, U.S.A.

From July 15th through to July 31st of this year, IP High Court Judge Hiroyuki Ueda participated in the summer seminar on American Patent Law "2009 Patent and Intellectual Property Law and Practice Summer Institute" hosted by the Center for Advanced Study and Research on Intellectual Property (CASRIP), an intellectual property law research institution affiliated to the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington, U.S.A.
The above seminar covered recent U.S. patent related judicial precedents, and also included lectures covering U.S. patent application procedures and lawsuit procedures, etc., given by professors of the School of Law of the university and other practitioners such as U.S. lawyers.
